Reviews
The best theater I've ever been to. Majestic 7 strikes the perfect balance without the hassle and awkwardness (servers with bright tablets serving meals) of the Superlux theaters.
Majestic 7 hits every key mark for a theater:
- they are adequately staffed
- it is the cleanest theater ive ever been to
- the decor and aesthetics are superb
- the popcorn is next level
- they serve beer
- the seats are like fluffy memory foam stuffed fake leather cloud that recline all the way down
- fantastic leg room
- the biggest (non-imax), brightest and most pin-sharp picture you are ever going to find
- crystal clear surround sound with plenty of base always at the correct volume
- assigned seating
- free parking at aresenal yards
I just can't say enough about this theater. It is the future of cinema. They absolutely nailed it... I just hope they can maintain it.
Pro Tip: I find that row F is in the sweet spot
I recently had the incredible experience of watching 'Oppenheimer' at the Majestic 7 in Arsenal Yard, and I can't praise the experience enough. The theaters are state-of-the-art, with comfortable seating and top-notch audio-visual quality. Watching the film on their IMAX screen was a mesmerizing experience, truly bringing the story of the Manhattan Project to life.
What really stood out, however, was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth, making the entire experience all the more enjoyable.
Arsenal Yard itself is a delightful place to spend an evening. With free parking and a plethora of shops, cafes, and restaurants, it's a one-stop destination for entertainment. The fact that the theater offers discounted tickets on Tuesdays is always a plus, making it even more enticing for movie lovers.
After soaking up the history of 'Oppenheimer,' my wife and I couldn't resist the opportunity to 'decontaminate from three hours of radiation' by posing in the giant Barbie box nearby. It was the perfect whimsical end to a memorable evening.
Highly recommend the Majestic 7 and Arsenal Yard for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic movie experience with some added flair!
My go to was Waltham's Embassy, as I prefer small independent theaters. Now that the Embassy is closed, I gave the Majestic a try. I like it far better than AMC. You still get the comfort of reclining chairs, reserved seating, good sound and picture, and a decent bar and kitchen, but it's still also small enough for that personal feel. This could be because I went on a Wednesday though, and cant speak to if its insane on a weekend. My one complaint is that I do not understand why the concessions area was designed so tightly. I guess they had a space limitation trying to fit into the existing Arsenal building.
My go to theater place! The reclining seats are awesome and it’s relatively relaxing compared to cramped AMC theaters. Two stars off because they’re always out of soap in the bathrooms and more recently (11/30/23) the kitchen opens at 5pm, meaning you can’t have a hotdog or fries before that. Decent theater just overwhelmingly understaffed. I come here regularly since it’s on my way to work and I’ve consistently seen these issues.
The theater was really good. But their popcorn is the worst I have ever had. I think they intentionally break the popcorn in pieces before putting it in the box😂. The drink station does not work properly. And if you are lucky like me you will meet a rude old lady there. Who will give you a lecture about your paper ticket all the time. Say hi to her from me!
Nice recliner seats, sound system and service. Wide variety of snack options as well. Clean and Comfortable. Tickets and snacks are pricier than AMC or Cinemark.
One of the newest and cleanest theaters in the area. The seats were all clean and so were the mens room. We did it get any food or beverages but just from the ambiance, you could tell that it wasn’t bad. Overall a much better choice than amc or Lowe’s.
Great movie theater. Good selection of snacks and well cleaned auditorium. Cwx at the very least has reclinging seats not sure about the others. Marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks was awful unfortunately.
